The Pittsburgh Urban Gardening Project

The Pittsburgh Urban Gardening Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating people in ways to live healthy, sustainable lives.  We plant, grow and harvest fruits and vegetables around Pittsburgh with the goal of turning city streets into healthy eats.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door.

During our normal Sunday Farm Stand on October 6th, 2019 The Pittsburgh Urban Gardening Project will be turning our farm stand into a “You Pick” festival to raise money for the expansion of our internship program in 2020. Each $20 ticket will include brunch catered by The Brick & Mortar Kitchen & The Burgh Bites Food Truck. They will be serving a menu complete with produce grown by the Pittsburgh Urban Gardening Project.

Mindful Brewing will also be on site sampling a special edition beer which was brewed utilizing produce from the Pittsburgh Urban Gardening Project!

In addition to the flowers, vegetables, fruits & herbs that will be available for purchase at the farm stand, “You Pick” containers will also be available for $10. You will be permitted to fill each pint container up with as many tomatoes, beets & herbs as you can fit into the container.
